Chocolate Rice Crispy Treats (No Marshmallows)
Ingredients
1 cup dark chocolate chips or chopped dark chocolate ( recommended brands is Hu or Pascha )
2 tablespoons coconut oil
4 cups crispy rice cereal ( recommended brand The Real Cereal Co. )
Pinch of sea salt (optional but chef’s kiss)
Instructions
Melt chocolate + oil
Use a double boiler or microwave in 20–30 second bursts, stirring until smooth.Season
Stir in a small pinch of sea salt.Add cereal
Fold in the rice cereal until everything is evenly coated.Press into pan
Line an 8×8 pan with parchment. Press mixture in gently and evenly.Chill
Refrigerate 20–30 minutes until firm.Slice & enjoy
Use a sharp knife (warm it under hot water for clean cuts).
Easy Upgrades (optional)
Extra crunch: sprinkle flaky sea salt on top
Softer bite: add 1 extra tablespoon coconut oil
Flavor boost: ¼ teaspoon vanilla extract
