Update on me

Lately I have been dealing with nerve irritation in my arm and wrist, and I knew something was not quite right.

After being sick last year, my body just did not feel like it fully settled. It did not feel like an injury or arthritis. It felt more like inflammation that flared with certain movements or repetitive work. I didn't have these issues prior to my gut health.

I got some guidance from Dr. Mark Hyman, and he confirmed what I had been thinking. He explained it like this:

“Your gut infections (C. diff, H. pylori) likely kicked this off through systemic inflammation or molecular mimicry, where bacterial proteins tricked your immune system into attacking your own wrist and arm nerves or joints.”

In simple terms, when your immune system fights certain infections, it can stay a little overactive afterward. Instead of causing damage, that lingering inflammation can show up in unexpected places like irritated nerves or joints, especially when those areas are under stress.

The reassuring part is that nothing is broken. This kind of issue can improve. He suggested a simple protocol focused on calming inflammation and supporting the nervous system, along with making small changes instead of pushing through discomfort.

Sharing this because pain does not always mean something is damaged. Sometimes it is just the body asking for support and time. But also I wanted to really put out there that when something is wrong it can cause other issues in the body.
